Using frozen strawberries eliminates the need to add ice to this drink, for a more concentrated fruit flavor in the end. (This is true for other fruit slushes as well, and you may want to keep a steady stash of frozen fruit on hand just for making drinks when the mood strikes.) Fresh lime juice and mint are essential additions, and you may want to add more than what's called for to suit your own taste.


  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1 mint leaf
  • 150 grams frozen strawberries
  • water (to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar


  1. Place frozen strawberries in a blender with lemon juice and mint leaf. Blend thoroughly. Add water if mixture is too thick. Add brown sugar to taste.
