    This recipe has turned out to be my "go to" recipe for church functions, bible studies and unexpected company. It's fast and easy and is absolutely delicious. I use canned pie filling in mine to make it even easier (using the called for corn starch in the recipe mixed into the pie filling to ensure it sets up) and everyone bugs their eyes out and moan like I had spent hours baking for them. I LOVE this recipe because it doesn't have unexpected tastes and textures. Plain strawberry bars, or blueberry or apple...…

    I was not a huge fan. Everything seemed to turn out as expected, but the crumb was dry and kind of bland. Nothing too exciting about these. I would not name again.

    It turned out great but I made mine with strawberry and rhubarb and it was amazing great hit with my family.

    This is a family favorite in my house. It's great using peaches or apricots as well. I have never had an issue with it being dry.

    Made two batches, one in the 8x8 pan and one in a muffin tin (for individual servings without having to cut into bars). Both came out great and was asked to make more from both family and coworkers.

    Mine turned out pretty jammy and less fresh in appearance than the photos. I subbed some of the white sugar with brown sugar, it would have been good with a bit less sugar.

    Marginal at best. Nothing special, would not make again. Very bland. They didn't rise very high and were dry.
