Description

All that is required for cooking these loin chops is a skillet with a lid and a stove top. These lean pork loin chops are low in fat and remain tender throughout the cooking process in a white wine mustard sauce.

Ingredients

6 pork loin chops
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 garlic cloves (chopped)
1 onions (thinly sliced)
1/2 red pepper (small, strips)
2 tablespoons mustard
1/2 glass white wine
salt (to taste)

Directions

1In a skillet, heat the olive oil, and cover for 2 to 3 minutes. Uncover, turn over the chops, and simmer for 2 minutes or more.
2Sprinkle on top, the garlic, onion, and pepper.
3Season with salt, and add the mustard, spreading over the onion.
4Cover, and cook on low heat.
5After about 10 minutes, mix every thing well, and sprinkle with white wine.
6Simmer uncovered another 2 or 3 minutes.
7Serve with white rice.
