  • 3 slices fresh ginger root
  • 3 garlic cloves (sliced)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger purée (also called ground ginger, or use finely minced fresh ginger root)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ponzu
  • 1/4 cup chicken stock
  • 1 tablespoon arrowroot starch (or cornstarch)
