Stir-Fried Summer Vegetables


If Summer could be captured and placed in a bowl on the table, it would be this Wok of vegetables. Individualized bowls of crunchy sweet red pepper, bitter shallots, deep earthy thyme and sharp basil covered in a light soka sauce will have you loving vegetables all day long. In an already heated wok, this dish takes a matter of minutes for the chopped vegetables to caramelize and saturate themselves in the sauce. Simply plate and eat!


  • 1 zucchini
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 shallot
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • salt
  • pepper
  • thyme
  • 3 basil leaves (chopped)


  1. 1. Chop the zucchini and red pepper. Dice the shallot.
  2. 2. Heat a wok. When it is hot, add the soy sauce, which will quickly caramelize. Add the vegetables and stir gently. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. 3. At the end of cooking, add a little thyme and the basil leaves.
