Stewed Sausage and Beans


olive oil
1 onions (chopped)
2 garlic cloves (minced)
2 bay leaves
1 beef sausage (smoked, sliced)
1 pork sausages (smoked, sliced)
1 sausages (black pudding, or blood sausage, sliced)
2 slices bacon (diced)
1 1/2 kilograms broad beans
3 leek leaves (green, chopped)
1 sprig cilantro (chopped)
1 sprig mint (chopped)
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 cup wine
1 cup water
salt (to taste)
1 tablespoon margarine
1 tablespoon lard
3 tablespoons ketchup


1Heat olive oil in a frying pan and sauté onion, garlic and bay leaves.
2Add sliced sausages and diced bacon.
3Simmer for a few minutes.
4Place mixture in a pressure cooker and add remaining ingredients.
5Tightly seal lid.
6Bring to a boil and cook for about 10 minutes, according to manufacturer's instructions.
