- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 garlic clove (minced)
- 1/4 green onion (minced)
- 0.5 kilograms nopales (cut into strips)

Directions
- Place a frying pan on the stove at medium heat and pour in the vegetable oil.
- Add the garlic and onion and cook for 1 minute.
- Add the nopales and a pinch of salt. Mix everything well and then cover the pan with a lid.
- Cook everything for approximately 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Uncover the pan and cook everything for another 15 minutes or until the liquid has completely evaporated. Serve warm.

I had high expectations for this recipe before I made it and it met every single one of them. It was super easy to make, not a lot of ingredients, and did not take a lot of time to make. My whole family requested I make it again because they tasted so good. 4 star recipe all around; definitely making this again.
