  • 1 onions (medium, thinly sliced)
  • 1 tomatoes (finely diced)
  • 2 green chilies (slit through the middle)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 teaspoons coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 2 teaspoons garam masala (use goda masala if you have this)
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon sugar (optional)
  • 1/4 cup cilantro leaves (finely chopped)
  • salt (to taste)
