This pesto combines parmesari cheese, fresh spinach leaves, garlic cloves, walnuts, extra-virgin olive oil and salt. This pesto is so good, you can put it on pasta, potatoes, sandwiches, and meats. It’s even good enough to eat with a spoon! Easy, quick and tasty!

Ingredients

  • 100 grams parmesan cheese
  • 100 grams fresh spinach leaves
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 50 grams walnuts
  • 80 grams extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt

Directions

  1. In the blender, grind all ingredients well.
  2. Serve with croutons.
  3. You can also store for a few days in the refrigerator in a sterilized jar, covered with olive oil.

This was a unique 4 star recipe I plan to use once in awhile for our pasta dishes. The spinach gave it good texture and an irony taste while the walnut gave it a satisfying crunch.
