Spicy Pork Steaks with Apple-Mustard Sauce

Ingredients

4 blade pork steaks (3/4-1 inch thick)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon coriander
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
1/2 onions (medium, thinly sliced)
1/2 cup apple juice (OR apple cider)
1 tablespoon apple jelly
2 tablespoons dijon mustard
1/3 cup dried apple (diced)

Directions

1Stir together spices and rub on steaks. Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat; add onion and cook and stir until onion is soft but not brown, about 3 minutes. Push onion to one side of pan; add steaks and brown, about 1 1/2-2 minutes on each side. Add apple juice, dried apples, jelly and mustard, stir to blend well. Bring to a boil, cover, lower heat and simmer for 20 minutes until internal temperature on a thermometer reads 160 degrees F.
