  • 2 pounds pork roast (trimmed and sliced into thin strips)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar ([can use Splenda blend])
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce ([DO NOT use less sodium this time])
  • 3 teaspoons chili garlic sauce ([I use Huy Fong])
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ginger (minced)
  • 6 garlic cloves (minced)

    Directions

    1. Mix the marinade ingredients and pour over your sliced pork.
    2. If you want a sauce to pour over it, boil your leftover marinade in a sauce pan for a few minutes until boils down and thickens. I then add rice wine vinegar to taste to thin it and decrease the sweetness and pour over meat.
