Ok I'm going to try this recipe again for sure! The salmon was cooked perfectly (and for anyone that's like me and finds themselves wondering "hi or lo broil?" the answer is hi). The only reason I wasn't totally satisfied with my result was that I tried to find a chipotle chile powder as suggested and couldn't find at my one stop- so I used a spice called "smoky chile" - usually used for moles- which I thought would serve the purpose. However, it didn't have enough kick for me. So next time, I'll just use regular chile powder. I also used ALL of the seasoning (no extra leftover) and found it to be the right amount for us. Looking forward to trying again.

Amazing every time! The first time I made it, I didnt use a nonstick pan. Big mistake! Because you are carmelizing sugar, the man needs to be nonstick or heavily greased, but you wont regret it. Best salmon ever!

So delicious! Really nice subtle flavour and so easy to make. I made it with quinoa and white asparagus on the side - yum yum!

Awesome! I put the rack on the second shelf and it got way to hot and almost burned the salmon put it on the third rack and was perfect

Great recipe! Has all the right flavors! Spicy, salty and sweet! Gives the salmon a nice glaze over the top of it!

Couldn't believe how easy and delicious this was. Recommend using high on broiler if you have multiple settings. Great recipe!
