  • 2 green chilies (finely sliced)
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes (or 1 can of diced tomatoes)
  • 20 curry leaves (optional)
  • 2 pandan leaves (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon fenugreek seeds
  • 1 tablespoon red chili powder (or to taste see note*)
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder (roasted)
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 pieces cinnamon bark
  • 2 cups milk (I used regular cow's milk)
  • salt (to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
