Perfect recipe for easy, classic sausage gravy. Take it off the heat a little before it reaches the thickness you want -- it will continue to thicken a bit as it cools. Throw in some red pepper flakes or cayenne for an extra bite!

So good. Have to add like 2-3 tbs of butter/margarine to make it perfect!

Perfect. Easy. Cut in half for 2 of us. Does need more like like others have said.

Similar to what my grandpa always made when we were growing up. I'd recommend a bit more milk as this turns out fairly thick (and for God's sake use whole milk). As always, sausage gravy calls for ample amounts of pepper.

It was ok. I will need to use regular instead of the kind of meat I did use.

Easy beginner friendly and fast! I use pre made biscuits and bake them while I do the gravy. Very filling. Don’t skimp on the pepper.

Super easy and super delicious!! My husband was used to his mother’s heat-and-eat name brand gravy. Now this is his favorite!

    Never fail awesome gravy!
"Mediocrity is a sin punishable by death." - Homer Simpson, And a mediocrity this dish is, so bland, so little flavor. This gravy is worse than taking a trip to purgatory and back. And that's why I, esteemed food reviewer Biggie Smuggs, rate the food a 3/5.
Love it! Have made this recipe a handful of times and my kids eat it up 😀

Turned out perfect. Easy to make. I used The regular Jimmy Dean sausage and added a little bit of slap your mama along with the standard salt and pepper. Fed 4 adults with a little left over. If it thickens up too much just add a little milk and you’re back in business.
