  • 6 sirloin (bone-in, or rib pork chops or pork shoulder steaks, 1/2 to 3/4-inch thick)
  • 3 cups beef broth (or stock)
  • 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce (or to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme (crushed)
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary (crushed)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1 cup chopped onion (coarsely)
  • 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper (coarsely)
