- 5 pounds peanuts (in shells)
- 3/4 cup salt
- 1 1/4 cups dill pickle
- 1 slice brine
- 5 jalapeno peppers (small, sliced)
- 5 tablespoons crab boil (such as Zatarain's® Crab and Shrimp Boil)

I'm from Alabama, lived in Florida & now live in South Carolina & there are peanuts stands pretty much everywhere I go. This recipe sounded really good except for the dill pickles & brine. I've never heard of it but gave it a try. Probably the worst tasting peanuts I've ever had, way too salty & briny tasting & I'm a pickle lover at that. I would suggest this recipe sans the pickles & brine.
