    Easy preparation and omgeee delicious. I also used chicken broth I had on hand instead of water, it makes the gravy more flavorful.

    Great! I must admit that I added a few things though. I used chicken broth instead of water, a bit more of the spices, and added the juice of 1/2 a lemon. Hubby says the recipe is definitely a keeper!

    Great and easy dish. I might try the chicken broth others have mentioned. But definitely delicious using water.

    Holy cow and to think I didn’t like pork! The seasoning crusted on the pork The gravy was also delicious! I never made gravy in my life I cut extra onions and used chicken stock but used three cups. Definitely will make again.

    It was okay. The pork chops didn’t need to be cooked for that long, in fact I wonder if they should go in the sauce at all or just get cooked through instead of just browning. I added extra spices in fear of blandness as mentioned by others. Served with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli.

    Good.. I would add some stock to give it more flavor, but not bad if you add some more of your own spices.

    This was really good. The gravy was thick and very tasty. I put mine in the oven and covered with foil. It turned out wonderful!
    This recipe was a good choice. My pork chops were tender and succulent. The gravy was full of flavor and smooth like silk! Of course I had to add a few extra seasonings to my taste. But overall it was good.

    The last time I made this I followed the recipe exactly and it was a little bland with a few modifications, omitting the water and adding a few seasonings I’m sure this will turn out better!

    This was AMAZING! A foot of snow outside sent me looking for a yummy, rib-sticking recipe, and this was it! Watch how long you cook the chops - didn’t need an hour. They were tender, succulent and just delicious in the wonderful gravy! Highly recommend!

    I cut back on the oil. I used just enough to fry the chops and make the rue (3-4 tbs). I eventually used 3 cups of water total, thinning the gravy as needed. I added about 4 oz of button mushrooms to the gravy. I can't imagine cooking for an hour. The chops (boneless 1 inch thick) reached 140 degrees after 20 minutes. The results were very good. I will definitely make this again just not too often. It is not a light offering but it is delicious.
