Smoked Salmon and Vodka Pasta

Description

This recipe can be ready in under 30 minutes. The boiled pasta is very soft while the smoked salmon adds a salty flavor to the dish. Mixed with the pasta the sauce brings a creamy element to the dish which will make a great dinner.

Ingredients

  • 250 grams pasta
  • 1 onions (peeled and chopped)
  • 200 grams smoked salmon (cut into strips)
  • 50 milliliters vodka
  • 14 ounces evaporated milk
  • dill

Directions

  1. 1Boil the pasta in salted water for 8 to 10 minutes until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2Saute the onion on low heat until transparent.
  3. 3Add the smoked salmon strips and heat through about 30 seconds.
  4. 4Add the vodka and flambe or simply cook until all the alcohol is evaporated.
  5. 5Add the evaporated milk and a pinch of dill. Simmer together 5 minutes.
  6. 6Mix the sauce with the pasta and serve.
