Ingredients

  • 50 grams cream
  • 1/2 fresh goat cheese
  • 150 grams peas (cooked)
  • chives
  • 1/2 teaspoon agar agar
  • 2 tablespoons fat free cottage cheese

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, heat the cream. Add the agar-agar and boil for 30 seconds.
  2. Turn off the heat, add the goat cheese, cottage cheese, peas, and chives.
  3. Pour into flexible molds and store in a cool place for at least 2 hours.
  4. Serve on a roquette, with diced tomatoes and a balsamic vinaigrette.

Goat cheese is one of my most used cheeses and was excited to try this flan recipe. The cheese had that unique taste but the odor was toned down quite a bit. The peas tasted fresh and was very pleasing to eat.
