I didn’t use the slow cooker just simmered it for an hour. It needed more heat flavour for my taste so added more spices but it was delicious.

So good. Added a pinch of smoked paprika and real garlic and a lot of fresh cilantro.

A little bland but i think adding the optional cheese or sour cream would help. Quick prep and easy to make, would definitely make again!

Followed the recipe exactly and it came out so good! The fire roasted tomatoes are key.

Simple and delicious. I doubled the chili powder for my family's taste and they loved it.

It turned out great, had to cook a little longer but that was probably due to my crock pot. My only issue was it was kind of bland for my taste. No real flavor stood out, I'll make it again and add some spices to help.

This recipe was fantastic! I’ve never had chili without meat but it was just as good

Made this with some minor changes and it turned out delicious!
Instead of water I used a 28oz of Swanson chicken broth
2 medium sized sweet potatoes (cubed then mashed at end)
2 cans of Rotel roasted chili’s (did not drain)
I can of Busch chili beans without meat
1 can black beans (drained but not rinsed)
And One Carrol Shelby chili kit for the seasonings.
Cooked in crockpot on high for 4hrs

Fantastic recipe and a great base to start with! To help combat the under-seasoning issue, I used 1 can of rotel, one can of chili beans, one can of black beans, with 1/2 teaspoon chili powder/garlic powder/and cumin each. Lastly, I used stock instead of water and two medium size sweet potatoes. Make sure to mash it up before serving. I am very happy to have left-overs for work this week and I cannot wait to make it again.

My mom and son liked it. The only way I could get my son to taste it, was if I got him Doritos to eat with it.

Added a can of pumpkin to thicken it up, and used Thai ginger broth instead of water. Good stuff. Also made a meat version with turkey burger, and added celery and carrots.

So delicious!
If you read the last line, the mashing makes all the difference :)

It was ok. I had added ground beef and used crushed tomatoes instead. Turned out too runny.

I added shredded chicken to it but honestly, the taste was underwhelming. It needs more spices in order to taste like chili. It was just a bizarre tasting tomato soup.

Pretty good but needs more spice. Also added Cajun spices and ground turkey which made the difference.

Tasty and so easy! I would definitely make again but I might add other veggies next time as well.
