Flavors were lovely but sauce was too thin and chicken a bit dry. Would perhaps cook it for a bit less time next time and thicken the sauce with some corn starch. Very easy dish though!

It wasn’t bad. Wasn’t sure what to expect flavor wise. It wasn’t a sweet dish, but I wouldn’t say it met expectations for savory either. In the end the flavor was strong so I had to pair it with mild or sweet items so not overwhelmed. I did like that the chicken soaked in the sauce and wasn’t dry. I honestly would make it again with minor alterations.

I made this yummy chicken the night before Thanksgiving, I wanted something light to feed my family so I made sandwiches, I just added an Asian pre made salad to them and it was a great success-thank you for this recipe!

Good recipe.... Similar to other reviews regarding the sauce being thin. I baked full chicken breasts in oven with sauce instead of crock pot. After 30 minutes, I put sauce in saucepan and thickened with cornstarch. This way they did not dry out. Served with brown rice.

I adjusted the recipe this way: 1)Used Teriyaki sauce instead of soy sauce 2)Used 3 Tbsp of tomato paste and filled the 1/3 cup measuring cup up the rest of the way with catsup 3)Added lime juice 4)Added sesame seeds 5)Thickened sauce just before serving with corn starch. It was fantastic!

Awesome!!! I tweaked a few things tho to amp up the flavor a little bit! I omitted the 1/3 cup catsup and replaced it with a half cup of teriyaki sauce. I didn’t have basil so I use a sprinkle of parsley in its place. I also added 1 tbsp of lemon juice concentrate and 1 tsp of sesame oil when mixing the ingredients. I salt and peppered my chicken breasts (thawed out) before adding all the other ingredients. Left the crockpot on low for about 3 hours (I did flip the chicken breasts over about halfway thru) and lastly poured everything in a baking dish, smothering the chicken again in the leftover sauce and broiled in oven for about 4 min and served it over jasmine rice. Our friends happened to drop by as I was putting dinner on the table and joined us. This dish was literally the topic of conversation for the next few hours and I forwarded the recipe to many of my friends. EVERYONE loved it including my 2 extremely picky children! I will definitely be adding this as a staple meal every week for my family from now on!!👍

This recipe super disappointed. The sauce does not stick at all and was really watery. I had to add a lot of flour to thicken it and a lot of spices to give it any flavor, then the stirring caused the chicken to fall apart. Not recommended.
