Oh my god this tastes amazing. Such a melt in your mouth kind of comfort food 😍 I swapped bacon for chicken which worked really well!

Needs more salt and used corn starch to thicken since I didn't get evaporated milk.

Great flavour , I didn’t add bacon to the soup only for garnish and I made it stovetop, worked great for

Pretty good. Bacon grease gave it a good flavor. Needed a bit more salt. Not an expert cook and a little nervous about making the roux but it was simple.

👍a little brothier than i had expected but still good, may need to use more flour next time

Made this to use up the excess amount of potatoes after St. Patrick day. The family loved this soup. I replaced the bacon with pancetta and xooked the pancetta with the soup. I also omitted the flour because we prefer a brothy soup. Great soup.

It’s great. I’ve made a couple of small changes to the recipe over the months I’ve been making it and everyone in my family loves it :)

Very tasty. I used the bacon fat for the roux, and I think it created a wonderful depth to the flavour

Very baconny (if that is a descriptor) flavor. Nice flavor easy to make will make again with less bacon and without the use of the bacon grease

The guys in my family went back for seconds. I enjoyed it, I will use a bit less Greek yoghurt next time as it was a bit tangy for my taste but the mild cheese evened that out some.

It came out good, taste was there. Added more salt and pepper though.

I loved this recipe and so did my family. Highly recommend using bacon grease instead of butter in the roux, it gives it a deeper bacon flavor
Bruce Babbitt 14 Jan
It turned out really really well.

Everyone liked it. I used vegetable broth and fat free evaporated milk. Also did half bacon grease and half butter!

Very good easy recipe. I used 8 pcs of bacon and added 2 tbs garlic powder as well. Personally I added a little cayenne in my bowl for some spice and it did well.

Turned out well. Will make again. I did add celery and carrots and seasoned with a bit of garlic salt and two bay leaves.

This was restaurant quality potato soup. The most difficult part about the recipe is dicing the potatoes, otherwise it's a very simple recipe to make. Great for a cold weather day!
