very easy to make and delicious

Great - but instead of slow cooking I cooked the chicken completely then simmered it in sauce for 8-10 minutes.

Recipe and flavor are great. Suggest stir fry veggie mix along with the rice. I also added a minced jalapeno for heat. Can use sauce recipe for other dishes or marinades. Too much time frying and I do not like the mess of frying. Will look for a different cooking technique but use this sauce. Might be the right recipe for you though, it is delicious!

This dish turned out poorly. Frying the chicken prior to placing it in the crock pot did not keep the crust from becoming gummy while the flavor of the sauce is good, the crock pot destroyed the crunchiness hat goes along with this dish. A better way to do this would be to completely cook the chicken in the oil, toss the chicken with the sauce, and broil in the oven.

I followed the directions exactly but the chicken came out very soggy despite sautéing prior to putting it in the crockpot. We love general tso's chicken but I will be looking for a different recipe to try.

Serve with steamed broccoli for a full, balanced meal. The slightly bitter broccoli goes very, very well with the sweet and spicy sauce.
