This was great but I did not make it the the slow cooker. Instead I added all the ingredients to the cheese mixture and cooked for about 20 minutes.

So far my favorite crock pot mac and cheese recipe (and I've tried several)! I only gave it 4 stars because it annoys me that the recipe only calls for a half pound of pasta. So I of course doubled it. I used 2 cans of soup, 12 oz. evaporated milk, 4 oz. 2% milk, 1 cup sour cream, 6 Tbsp. butter, 2 cups shredded cheddar, and also added paprika and garlic powder along with the other seasonings. It seemed done after an hour, but we let it cook 2 hrs. before we ate. It was wonderfully creamy and cheesy and my family really enjoyed it.

Great!! So easy, my son loves it...so does dad, that says a lot!! I only did a cup of cheese mixed in and just a sprinkle over the top! Never thought of using the cheese sauce, but it makes it so easy! I keep a couple cans in the pantry now, because it's a GO TO!! Enjoy!
