Can cook chicken in the oven and suate veggies and then place in slow cooker to marinate if running short on time.

Really well! I too added a whole squeezed lime and put the lime in the pot, just to give it a stronger citrus kick family loved it.

Loved this soup. It was even better the next day. Followed the directions as presented but added dried chipotle chili while cooking and 3-4 Tablespoons of lime juice.

This was very easy and good. I did make a few adjustments: I used a whole lime, cut in half, squeezed the juice into the soup and then left the limes in for the final hour or so. I also added rice to make it a little heartier and hot sauce for some extra spice and flavor. Turned out really well. Will definitely make again.

Not spicy enough but was very good
my kids usually never eat tomatoes or black beans and they absolutely loved it!

This soup is reaaaaallly good! My husband liked it too. Didn't make my own tortilla chips, just crushed some tortilla chips I had in the cupboard. I added extra lime juice, topped with some shredded cheddar. Didn't have any fresh cilantro and my husband is allergic to beans but it was still really good!

Great soup! It was very easy to make and our kitchen smells great? Can't wait to try this again. Should probably taste even better tomorrow in my work lunch.

I loved it!! However, I added about 3-4oz extra of broth, a can of butter beans, little bit of cayenne and half a pound extra of chicken since we like spicy and meaty. Perfect! Definitely doing this again. Cooked it on high for 4.5 hours.

Tasted authentic. I added ground chipotle for a smokier taste. A meal in a bowl. And as healthy or unhealthy (sour cream, extra tortillas strips) as you like.

This soup was really good, my children loved it too and they can be picky about vegetables. I used the diced tomatoes with green chiles and added additional seasonings such as cayenne pepper and pinto bean seasoning for more kick. Will definitely make again. ☺️
