This soup turned out great. Initially I was concerned that the chicken breast would be dry but because it is shredded it is perfect. This will be a staple in my house.

This was amazing!!!! The only thing I changed from the recipe was when I shredded the chicken... I just put chicken in for 8hours on low, then took out at end and shredded... I’m not sure, but I think chicken needs to be cooked longer than what this recipe indicates??? Anyway.. an amazing recipe ... definitely recommend, especially for busy people who just want to “dump” it all together... also.. we added a dollop of sour cream for extra yum! Thanks for the recipe!!

This recipe was easy and tasty. I would not call it a "set-it-and-forget-it" because you have to shred the chicken after a couple hours. I did add a few additional spices (mostly chili powder) to increase the heat.

Good flavor! I used the lower sodium taco seasoning and it worked well. Was a little watery for my preference, might add a little bit of cream cheese in the future.

Added more beans/corn/taco seasoning due to previous reviews saying it was bland. Chicken was PERFECT and everything had more than enough flavor. I used hot salsa and it wasnt too spicy. Next time I'll add rice and see how it works :)

Way too much chicken and ans i went alittle heavier on the spices. turned out great just felt more like shredded chicken with soup rather then soup with shredded chicken. flavors were great

It was great! I did add small amounts of vegetables that I had on hand; cabbage, celery, onion, and a small can of green chilies, and sliced black olives.

My whole family liked it. With 3 kids it can be hard to find new things they will all eat, but this was a success. It was really easy to make and that is an extra bonus.

Great! I added another 2 Tblsp. taco seasoning, and some dry Hidden Valley Ranch mix to the medium heat salsa for additional flavor. Will maybe use more beans and corn with next batch. I topped soup servings with shredded reduced fat sharp cheddar and crunched baked Tostitos.

Taste great but needs more seasoning. We like flavor!!! The chicken is a bit bland. The measurements for the ingredients were odd so we made adjustments based on what we found at the store. 30oz beans, so 2 cans. We used 2 salsa jars but dont remember the exact measurements. it wasnt much more. Definitely TOO MUCH CHICKEN. if you like a LOT of meat in your dishes and you have more than 2 people to feed, youll be fine. Otherwise, try 3.5-4 breasts and adjust as needed the next time you make it. For two people, use 2 chicken breasts, 1-2 cans of beans, 1 jar of salsa, maybe half the amount of broth and you should be fine. unless you want loads of leftovers. USE SPLIT CHICKEN BREASTS- makes the shredding easier and chicken tastier!

Fantastic. I used less chicken. Was too spicy for me so next time I'll use mild salsa and less taco seasoning.

Loved this recipe. However, my husband said it had too much chicken, so I think next time I will reduce the chicken by half. Another tip I would suggest is to cook the chicken on low for 5 hours and then shred it. It cooks the chicken perfectly and then makes it easier to shred. Then follow the remaining directions. So honestly, it needs to be cooked for 6.5 hours on low.

This soup came out great, so easy and delicious! You can make it as spicy as you like and you can switch it up by adding more of your favorite ingredients. This was a big hit and we had lots of leftovers, yum! 💜

Absolutely delicious. Huge hit, lots of leftovers. Added a finely chopped poblano pepper (will add 2 next time). The chicken didn't cook enough to be able to shred after 2.5 hours, so I added an extra 30 minutes and it worked out perfectly. Used a 6.5Q crock pot and it was full to the brim. I roughed the oz of beans, corn, and salsa.
