This was a huge flop. Made it exactly as the recipe called for. Lacked flavor

Yup. Family of 5 ALL agreed, great fall dish. My house actually liked it better with chicken thighs, more flavor.

I removed the oil and added artichoke hearts - so yummy. Also I don’t use the tomato paste

Very good. Salt and pepper as needed as far as everyone’s individual preference.

yuck,. easy but not tasty

Excellent flavour, used white wine and 2 stock cubes, tomato puree plus a carton of pasta, 1 tsp sugar, missed out the thyme so maybe slightly different flavour but very good.

we loved it. I used boneless skinless chicken thighs. that's my preference for slow cooker recipes.

Easy to make and my Italian husband approved even after his skepticism around there being no potatoes.

It was really flavorful. Next time I’d half the paste and replace it with more chopped tomato’s. But overall really good.

I did this recipe in the pressure cooker and it was delicious. Cooked it for our family and everyone really enjoyed it. We only had white Wine and used this and it was very tasty.

Very tasty! Something different for the crock pot. I have made this several times with chicken thighs and drumsticks and both come out tasty. I like adding mushrooms and using a small can of tomato paste and a larger can of crushed tomatoes. Makes great leftovers and freezer meals!

Great!! Leftovers are amazing too. I've never had chicken cacciatore at home or in a restaurant before so I'm not sure what it's supposed to taste like or how it is normally presented but this was a huge hit with everyone.

Error the ingredients list- 14oz of tomato paste is way too much. A standard 6oz can is plenty. Other recommended changes: 8oz sliced mushrooms and one 14oz can of small pitted black olives, plus salt, pepper and bay leaf, When you add it all in, it looks way too thick, but after three hours, the mushrooms and onion adds plenty of moisture. It's still cooking, but it should turn out great.

I made this dish last night using the directions without substituting anything. It was not saucy at all. Very very thick. Is there a liquid ingredient missing? E.g., water or chicken broth?
