This was okay but did not have a good bourbon chicken taste. Tasted like a general marinade.
This came out really good. I used frozen chicken breasts and it took about 2 hours on high from start to finish. I didn’t have apple juice but I substituted strawberry applesauce since it’s all I had. I read the reviews and omitted most the water since I didn’t want a runny sauce. I just added a splash of water to the sauce. Would definitely make again. I also added red pepper flakes.
It came out somewhat dry and with a very wet sauce. I would like to try it again with a thicker sauce and less time

Super quick and easy, taste was amazing. I used orange juice instead of apple juice and served it over cauliflower fried rice!

My only issue was the bones break really easily and it was hard to get them all out. 🐔USE BONELESS CHICKEN!!🐔Absolutely delicious. The sauce seems runny but when you shred the chicken and mix it in, it’s perfect..

Great recipe. Used pineapple juice since I didn't have apple juice and increased to 1/3 cup. Loved being able to put chicken in frozen. Juice was a little to thin for me. After reading comments, think I will add cornstarch to the water as others said. Over all, this was delicious & a keeper.
