It turned out good! Needed more flavoring so I just put some garlic cloves and garlic powder and it was perfect. I also used baby carrots.

Very good, tender roast! Added more beef broth (2 cups), and thyme/mushrooms/garlic as well. omitted the potatoes and made mashed. used the liquid for gravy by skimming off the fat and heating it in a saucepan with flour and some more beef broth.

Made this today and my husband and I really liked it. Will make again. Rubbed the roast with salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder. Used a cup of beef broth and added a packet of onion soup mix. Cooked roast for 8 hours. Added in carrots and celery for the last hour and a half of cook time. Served with mashed potatoes. Yum!

This was so easy and delicious. I used a Beef Pot Roast rubbed the salt, pepper and added minced garlic. I did not have beef broth instead I used beef stock. I used little red potatoes that come in the bag to cook in microwave but didn’t add it to the crockpot until 3 hours was left on the crockpot. I had to comeback and add to this recipe because we had it for leftovers 2 days later - it was BETTER than the day I cooked it. WOW -thank you for the recipe.

This recipe is costing me a fortune. I make it every other week. I doctor it with mushrooms and peppers and dried thyme and parsley and I use a bit more beef broth. It is in the crockpot right now and ready in 3 hours. I am giving this a 5 with my additions and 4 stars without.

Honestly, this is the easiest and best beef pot roast you can ever make. I used white pearl onions instead, and it was delicious. Instead of the beef broth, I used the cubes ones, so it gave the meat a little extra taste. Overall, this recipe is deff worth making.
