Lots of flavor. Used an instant pot - browned meat and then sautéed onion (I added 1 Walla Walla, finely sliced) and garlic. Put everything else in pot and slow cooked on low 7 hours. Delicious

Very yummy. I added about a quarter cup of beef stock to lessen the sweetness of tomato sauce. Also added to bay leaves. Had this dish with Roasted potatoes and Mashed Kumara (sweet potato).

I have made this recipe twice now. I have followed the instructions almost to a "t" and love it! (Today when I made it I realized I forgot to get fresh basil so substituted dry.) It is a huge hit with my husband and a super easy recipe to get ready for the crock pot --- then I just let the crock pot do it's thing and about a half hour before dinner I either make mashed potatoes or polenta to serve the Osso bucco on. It's just the two of us that I cook for now so this dish makes a nice second meal tomorrow, too!
