Tasty. Suggest using good bacon to wrap the chicken. I dont like cooked apple chunks so used only 1 apple and some apple sauce instead.

I got behind and had to make in oven instead of crock pot. 375 for 30 minutes then broiled for a few minutes. Also I found 2 apples were a lot. I ended up using only one... and didn’t peel it and it was fine. Definitely would make again.

Good and easy to make. I added onions and a little vit of water. Chiken was soft and juicy. I did it on high for 4 hours.

Super easy to make and yummy! The chicken was moist and fell apart with a fork. My husband complimented it more than 1x and went back for seconds. I mistakenly used three chicken breasts, and thereby more bacon and increased the lemon juice and BBQ proportionately too. Fed two with potatoes as a side and only had a small bit of leftovers. I will make again when I need an easy-to-whip-up, tasty recipe.

Not enough apple flavor, I used two very large apples. I'm curious as to what type of apple is recommended. I used Honeycrisp.

Fantastic, easy to make and the chicken was juicy and just fell apart. Family loved it !!

It is a delicious recipe, with few ingredients and a nice combination between the sweetness of the apple, the acidity of the lemon and the saltiness of the bacon. Family loved the dish. Definitely will cook it again.

Sauce very good, chicken dry even after halving one breast and tenderizing the meat a bit with a mallet. Would cube chicken next ti e or switch to pork.

I've made this multiple times, trying apple juice, chicken broth to make the chicken moist. Nothing has helped. The chicken is a major disappointment but the sauce/apples is really yummy.

Chicken was dry but the flavor was pretty good

It's not too bad but the chicken is too dry plus even one apple is too much. With a little tinkering it would make a great meal.
