I made it but there was not enough flavor for my Southern taste buds. My spouse said it would be good on a sandwich but not as a main dish. I had to go and pull out all the cooked apples and add brown gravy and mushroom soup to build up this to my families expectations.

It may just be my slow cooker, but the time was way too long. The flavour was very good. Next time I'll cook on low for 4 hours, thicken with a tablespoon of cornstarch, and cook for a half hour longer. This is a very quick and easy recipe.

I found the pork turned out a little dry, I would recommend searing the pork in a little oil with salt and pepper before adding into the slow cooker! The veggies were tasty and the sauce was very yummy!
