I actually used limes instead of lemons and also added more bell peper. I loved how it turned out and so did my family. I will be making it again!

Didn’t have any bell pepper but I cubed onions and zucchini from my garden to fill out the baking dish the chicken was in. Was SOOOO good we didn’t have any leftovers. I love slap your mama and for those that don’t like the heat there was no heat left when it was done cooking. I sprinkle a little more on after just to taste. What is very good and I will make it again

Great!!! I hate garlic, so, don't use it. Rub some butter on it. The rest is the same. Delicious!!!

Sooo good! I put garlic under the skin and injected it with butter. I did not have the rub so I made my own based on the ingredients. Easy and delicious!

Omg it was delicious, I made it for Christmas dinner my husband and kids loved it. Very tasty, my kids thought I was kidding when I said I was doing "slap ya mama's whole chicken" lol..Great recipe I did use my own seasoning.

Delicious! I had to roast the chicken a little longer than an hour and a half, but it came out tasting moist and very flavorful..

I did not have the moms seasoning blend so I used poultry seasoning and salt and pepper and I followed the rest of the directions and all came out very juicy and tasty. Good dinner!
