Delicious and the cut of meat we used was a bottom round tip. It had some gristle in it and was an unlikely cut. Again, very flavorful. The pepper and salt was enough to not need more after cooking. We used a convection oven, convection roast. 3lb roast cooked exactly on time. We used Crisco oil and I am not sure that was the best choice. There was some ?flavor that didn't seem 'just right'. We had garlic smashed red potatoes with the skins on, and simple broccoli with Smart Balance. We will definitely do this again and try a different cut to see how it turns out.
