Cooked enchilada style, these tamales are covered in enchilada sauce, cream, and manchego cheese and then baked until melty. Leave the tamales whole or cut into pieces before adding the sauce. You can use green or red enchilada sauce, whichever you prefer!

Ingredients

  • 10 tamales (frozen, defrosted)
  • 420 grams enchilada sauce (canned La Costena)
  • cream
  • manchego cheese (grated)

Directions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  2. 2In a casserole dish, place the tamales in pieces.
  3. 3Pour the sauce on top. Spread the cream and sprinkle with plenty of cheese.
  4. 4Place in the oven until the cheese melts.
