This recipe is great but you don't need to add the sugar; instead I add diced sweet peppers to the onion sautée and make sure everything is good and caramelized before adding the beef.

This recipe is delicious!! You can modify it for a smaller amount of servings. I will make this one again. We added cheese on top of the sloppy joe mixture.
