Shrimp-Stuffed Mushrooms with Ham

  • mushrooms
  • peeled prawns
  • sauce (prepared, thick, white)
  • poached onion
  • ham (shavings)
  • flour
  • egg
  • breadcrumbs
  • sunflower oil


  1. Clean mushrooms and remove stems.
  2. Place mushroom caps in a microwave-safe dish.
  3. Cook for 4 minutes on medium heat.
  4. Reserve cooking liquids.
  5. Mix ham shavings, poached onion, and a bit of the mushroom broth into prepared white sauce and season to taste.
  6. Place a prawn inside each mushroom cap, coat with white sauce and form a ball.
