Super yummy! Will be doing this again. I used brown rice as well in mixture with white rice which gave a nice flavor as well.

Tasted just like fried rice! We enjoyed it. We bought prawns that were already de-tailed and prepped - easy. Also I added corn for extra veggie.

We liked this recipe even though I made it in a hot rush forgetting both the peas and the sesame oil. My spouse cursed the task of cleaning the shrimp even though she insists on doing the shrimp cleaning. I would try cooking the onions with the shrimp next time or using shallots.

i heat up the cooked rice in a wok with the oil...then add the soya sauce , salt and pepper.....then i get the rice as hot as possible and then add the raw scrambled egg...then fold the egg into the rice.....ok then add the carrots peas and poached prawns and keep folding till all hot

I used shrimps and thinly sliced lean porc. Added hoisin and worcestershire sauce in addition to light soy sauce.
