These crispy Shrimp Croquettes or full of your favorite seafood flavor and creamy smoothness. Featuring a thick bechamel sauce that envelopes each shrimp, these croquettes are then coated in breadcrumbs and deep fried to golden perfection. The bechamel and shrimp mixture needs to be refrigerated for at least 4 hours before frying so be sure to leave yourself plenty of time. Serve with a variety of sauces for dipping.   • 0.5 liters milk

  • 200 grams jumbo shrimp
  • 1 egg

    Directions

    1. Melt the butter in a saucepan on medium heat.
    2. Little by little, add the flour followed by the milk. Add everything little by little until the bechamel has thickened and the milk has heated through.
    3. Add a pinch of salt, black pepper, and nutmeg to taste. Simmer for 5 minutes.
