Ingredients

  • 1 cup lettuce (shredded, you can combine different types of lettuce)
  • 1/2 tomato (shredded)
  • 1 tablespoon onion (shredded)
  • 1/4 cup red bell pepper (shredded)
  • 100 grams beef (roasted, shredded)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons sauce (mexican green, you can substitute it with any type of hot sauce)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt (as desired)
  • pepper (as desired)

Directions

  1. Mix the lemon juice, green sauce, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  2. Place the lettuce, tomato, onion, red bell pepper, and beef directly on a plate.
  3. Pour the dressing over the salad, mix it, and serve.

I liked this salad because it had a lot of flavor going on. I used some salsa verde I had in the fridge for the dressing and it worked well. I had some leftover steak from fajitas and I think it really helped lend an additional kick to the salad. I would definitely make this again.
