Eggs on pizza? It is easier and more delicious than it sounds, and it means that techically you can eat this pizza for breakfast. Serrano ham and quail eggs are used on these mini pizza for a unique and bold flavor combination. You can eat it for any meal of the day, and at less than 400 calories per serving you won't feel guilty about it even though it tastes so indulgent.

Ingredients

  • 300 grams bread flour
  • salt
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons yeast
  • 200 milliliters warm water
  • tomatoes
  • fresh thyme
  • 200 grams serrano ham
  • quail eggs

Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix the sifted flour, yeast, pinch of salt, and warm water.
  2. Knead the dough for 15 minutes until the dough is smooth and even. Add to a lightly oiled bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Allow it to rest at room temperature for 1 hour.
  3. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  4. Separate dough into 40-gram pieces and stretch using a rolling pin.
  5. Cover the pizza crusts with fried tomatoes, thyme, ham, and eggs.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes and serve warm.

Very good! I didn't have quail eggs so I used small chicken eggs. We raise our own chickens and one of them lays very small eggs. It worked just fine. These pizzas were a hit at my house. Thank you.
