So enjoy a seafood dinner, and set some aside to make these tasty appetizers for the party. This recipe includes shredded leftover salmon or other fish with aromatic spices and creamy Greek yogurt for a flavorful explosion.

Ingredients

  • 200 grams salmon (shredded leftover, or other fish)
  • 4 tablespoons fresh coriander (chopped)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 teaspoon greek yogurt (natural)
  • 1 turmeric (Indian Saffron)
  • 1 cumin powder
  • 1 paprika
  • 1 teaspoon mustard (grains)
  • salt (to taste)
  • ground black pepper (to taste)
  • oil (for frying)

    Directions

    1. In a bowl, mix well the fish, coriander, egg, flour, yogurt, a pinch of turmeric, a pinch of cumin powder, a pinch of paprika, mustard grains, salt, and pepper to taste.
    2. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan with high sides, or a saucepan.
    3. Use two teaspoons to make small cakes, and place in hot olive oil.
    4. Fry on both sides until golden.
    5. Drain on paper towels.
