Description

If you have leftover fish and don’t want to throw it out, but have no idea what to do with it, then try these Sea Crayons. They are perfect for that office party coming up. So enjoy a seafood dinner, and set some aside to make these tasty appetizers for the party. This recipe includes shredded leftover salmon or other fish with aromatic spices and creamy Greek yogurt for a flavorful explosion.

Ingredients

200 grams salmon (shredded leftover, or other fish)
4 tablespoons fresh coriander (chopped)
1 large eggs
1 tablespoon flour
1 teaspoon greek yogurt (natural)
1 turmeric (Indian Saffron)
1 ground cumin
1 paprika
1 teaspoon mustard (grains)
salt (to taste)
ground black pepper (to taste)
oil (for frying)

Directions

1In a bowl, mix well the fish, coriander, egg, flour, yogurt, a pinch of turmeric, a pinch of cumin powder, a pinch of paprika, mustard grains, salt, and pepper to taste.
2Heat the olive oil in a frying pan with high sides, or a saucepan.
3Use two teaspoons to make small cakes, and place in hot olive oil.
4Fry on both sides until golden.
5Drain on paper towels.
