This dish is almost pure meat. There is just enough black pepper, cayenne pepper, and garlic to add a hint of spice. Garnish with parsley to add a hint of green, or add shredded carrots for a different look.

Ingredients

  • 1 sea bass (filleted)
  • salt
  • ground black pepper
  • 100 grams shrimp
  • 1 squid (small, sliced)
  • 1 garlic clove (diced)
  • 1 cayenne pepper (whole)
  • fresh parsley (chopped)

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Salt and pepper the fish fillets and place into an oven-proof dish.
  3. In a skillet, saute together the shrimp and sliced squid with garlic and cayenne pepper. Just heat through; do not cook all the way because it will continue cooking in the oven.
  4. Place the squid and shrimp mixture on top of the fish fillets and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  5. When removed from the oven, sprinkle fresh parsley over the top of the dish.

This recipe was incredibly easy to make and did not require an abundance of time to do it. My entire family loved how the squid and shrimp were cooked perfectly; not mushy at all. The sea bass was flakey and moist. I will be making this 4 star recipe again next week.
