The fish lover’s treat. This simple, yet elegant recipe allows you to enjoy the flavor of sea bass, fried to perfection. The eel adds a satisfying crunch. Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon or lime. Use orange or grapefruit to add a twist.
- 2 sea bass fillets (large)
- ground black pepper
- oil (for frying)
- Salt and pepper the fillets to taste and then grill them, starting skin side down.
- To make the crunchy eel, coat it in flour and fry it for a few seconds until crunchy.
- Serve the fish garnished with the eel on top.

This recipe was absolutely pleasurable to eat and I cannot wait to make it again! The sea bass was flakey and not at all dry. The crunchy eel was exactly that, crunchy, and had a robust taste to it that I have never experienced before. I used fresh fish for this meal which really helped to bring out only the best of flavors. Giving this recipe 5 stars all the way.
