  • 2 sea bass fillets (large)
  • ground black pepper
  • salt
  • eel
  • flour
  • oil (for frying)


  1. Salt and pepper the fillets to taste and then grill them, starting skin side down.
  2. To make the crunchy eel, coat it in flour and fry it for a few seconds until crunchy.

This recipe was absolutely pleasurable to eat and I cannot wait to make it again! The sea bass was flakey and not at all dry. The crunchy eel was exactly that, crunchy, and had a robust taste to it that I have never experienced before. I used fresh fish for this meal which really helped to bring out only the best of flavors. Giving this recipe 5 stars all the way.
