Scamorza Octopus au GratinRECETAS DEL SEÑOR SEÑOR
Scamorza is an Italian cheese make from cow's milk that is simular to mozzarella. It is often used in smoked form, as is the case in this simple octopus recipe. All you need are 3 simple ingredients, cheese, octopus, and sea salt, to bring this recipe together. You can serve this over a grain and some vegetables for a meal or with toasted slices or rustic bread as an appetizer.
- Tenderize the octopus using a meat mallet.
- Add the octopus to salted boiling water and cook for 25 minutes.
- Drain the octopus and slice. Place the octopus on a foil lined baking sheet. Top with cheese and season with salt.
- Place in the oven and broil until the cheese is melted. Serve hot.
