Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk (or half-and-half)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 8 slices french bread
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • maple syrup (to serve)

Directions

  1. Beat eggs, half-and-half or milk and chopped parsley in a medium bowl until well blended. Season to taste. Dip bread slices in egg mixture for a few seconds each side.
  2. Heat butter in a large skillet on medium heat. When foaming, place the soaked bread in the pan. Cook for 2-3 mins each side until golden. Serve with maple syrup.
