Preparation time can be cut if using frozen snow peas. Serve these glazed peas with dinners featuring Cranberry-Glazed Pork Roast or with a simple meal of Peppered Pork Chops.
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 1/2 cups snow peas (fresh, OR 2 6-oz packages frozen snow peas, thawed)
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- In large skillet melt butter over medium-high heat; stir in snow peas; cook and stir for 2-3 minutes, until peas are crisp-tender. Stir in sugar, salt and pepper, toss well. Serve immediately.
