Directions
- Heat heavy saucepan over medium-high heat; add sugar and stir just until melted. Add green beans and boiling water; cover and boil for six minutes. Drain; plunge beans into ice water. Drain. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet, add beans, cook just until through. Stir in bacon; season to taste.
