Stuffed with your favorite flavorful sausage, these pastry rolls will steal the show as an appetizer. Requiring just four ingredients, the rolls are easy to make and will look absolutely gourmet.

Ingredients

  • 1 puff pastry (rectangular)
  • 1 package sausage (sliced)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • sesame seeds

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Line a baking sheet with non-stick mat, or parchment paper, and set aside.
  3. Spread out the puff pastry, and cut in half lengthwise.
  4. On each half of the dough, evenly distribute the sausage slices.
  5. Roll up each half, and cut in 3 centimeter thick slices.
  6. Brush the surface with beaten egg yolk, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  7. Place in on a baking tray, and bake for about 25 minutes, or until dough is golden.
  8. Remove from oven, and let cool.

Fantastic recipe. It does take a little time but it is not hard to make. They are super delicious and good for parties or get-togethers. Although I just make them at home for us to snack on sometimes.
