Replace your traditional bread sticks! Topped with salt and rosemary, you can dip them in soup, marinara sauce, or eat them along side your favorite pasta dish. They have a mild flavor that complements foods with a strong flavor.

Ingredients

  • 450 grams flour
  • 270 milliliters water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 11 grams dry yeast
  • olive oil
  • rosemary
  • salt (Fleur de sel)

Directions

  1. Put the flour, water, salt, and yeast in the mixer, and knead for 7/8 minutes. Let it rest in a place away from drafts during 1 hour.
  2. Preheat oven at 200 degrees Celsius.
  3. Shape the dough on a rectangular silicon sheet. Let it rest again for 40 minutes.
  4. Make holes spaced with the fingertips, pour olive oil (I use a spray oil to not put too much). Add rosemary leaves and fleur de sel before baking.
  5. Cook for 20 minutes. Cut into wide strips and taste lukewarm

I made this with Rosemary flavored olive oil. I used a basting brush to apply the olive oil and it worked great to add just the right amount to the bread.
